For all planned cases, Customer service executive shall inform you a day prior on date and time of arrival. Please carry your ID, all available medical reports and insurance card for the admission process.
Patient meals are served on the following timings: Breakfast – 6:00AM- 9:00AM Lunch- 12:30PM- 2:30PM Dinner- 6:00PM- 7:30PM
You are encouraged to bring only essential items to the hospital, such as sleep-wear and toiletries. Large sums of money, keys, jewelry, personal papers, and other valuables should be left at home. For safety reasons, do not bring TV, radios, hairdryers, or other electric devices. The hospital is not responsible for lost or stolen items. If you do have personal valuables (jewelries, watches, money) that needs to be secured, please notify your nurse, who will notify Security.
Room categories offered are Deluxe/ Single/ Twin Sharing room. All rooms have en-suite bathrooms and are fully furnished with telephones, mini-fridge and multi-channel satellite television. All rooms have a sofa bed to accommodate one person for an overnight stay.
Bedside rails contain controls for the bed and nurse call button. TV remote controls are placed at the bedside table, first drawer. If you’d like the room temperature adjusted, ask any member of your healthcare team. We urge you to leave your valuables at home
It is best to pack a suitcase two weeks in advance, including pre-washed nursing bras, baby vests, baby gowns, mittens and wrapping blankets. You should provide copies of passport with visa page, ID and marriage certificate (both parents) at the time of admission, failing which provision of birth certificate may be delayed.
All admitted patients need to wear hospital wrist ID band clearly stating their full names and UHIDs to ensure identification. Make use of the call bell system at bedside and in all bathrooms in case of assistance.
Your hospital bill will include charges for your room, food, medical supplies and services, nursing services, physician fees, and tests or procedures that you undergo, including x-rays. Our billing office will file your claims directly to your insurance company. You will be billed for any co-payments and/or outstanding balances not paid by your insurance payer.
Not all medical costs are covered by insurance. Aster Sanad Hospital makes every effort to see that you are billed correctly. Your final bill will reflect the actual cost of care minus any approved insurance payment. All charges not covered by your insurance are your responsibility
